Manq'a Restaurante
Bolivia
En un coup d'œil

I had dinner at Manq'a while visiting La Paz. The restaurant is located inside a large multi-level building, and I had a table overlooking the dining area below. It was a pretty cool setting. The meal started with bread and a red pepper spread. I followed that with a creamy soup and a fish dish. Both were well prepared and had a lot of flavor. The fish was also one of the better-presented dishes I've had on this trip. Service was friendly and the meal never felt rushed. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner and a nice change of pace from the steakhouses I had been visiting.
A very cozy and authentic restaurant with excellent Bolivian cuisine and a great selection of Bolivian wines available by the glass. The dishes are beautifully presented in a fine dining style, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for all tourists visiting La Paz.
This was probably the best Bolivian food I had in La Paz (even though I guess it’s technically fusion). I had the keperi and it was really good. Not just compared to other Bolivian food in La Paz but compared to food I’ve had around the world. The meat was super tender, the sauce/gravy was delicious, and everything on the plate was perfect. The price was quite reasonable (although the portions were a bit on the smaller side). The wine was also priced pretty reasonably per glass. The dessert was so so, probably the only thing about the dinner that wasn’t great. The service was good, attentive when you needed something, but otherwise left you alone. The servers all seemed to speak some English but did a good job of engaging in Spanish and only helping in English if the person needed it. The place felt very spacious (it was huge inside) but it still felt intimate in terms of the placement of tables. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for good Bolivian fusion food.
Super tasty food and very reasonable prices. And service is very friendly. I got the vegetarian main, it was similar to a pumpkin soup, very tasty. It's the pic of the yellow looking soup. The sandwiches are also tasty but no vegetarian options. They were fine removing meat from the egg and meat sandwich. It would be good in general to have more veg options there is just one veg main, the pumpkin, it was very tasty but options are good! Apart from the lack of vegetarian options everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend it.
Delicious and beautifully plated Bolivian cuisine, particularly enjoyed the peanut soup! Friendly staff and interesting decor. Keep up the good work.
