Description
On Day 1, we'll be taking a tourist bus from La Paz to Uyuni, departing at 9:00 pm and travelling overnight. Then, on Day 2, we'll be picking you up from the bus terminal in Uyuni and taking you to cafeteria for a delicious breakfast. At 10:30 am, we'll start the tour by visiting the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Next, we get to visit the lovely community of Colchani, which serves as the gateway to the majestic Salar! Here, we'll find rustic handicraft workshops and witness the production of table salt. Continuing our expedition to the breathtaking Salar de Uyuni, we'll make stops to observe salt extractions, salt eyes, and the salt hotel Playa Blanca, which currently functions only as a museum. Afterwards, we get to visit the most popular island located in the middle of the Salar - Incahuasi Island! There, we will hike and observe large expanses of cactus, sea rock fossils, and spectacular 360° views from the lookout point. Finally, we conclude our tour by heading to the town of Uyuni.Includes
