We stayed here for almost a month in between hikes and with the blockades. The staff are amazing, every single person there is so lovely and helpful. The beds are so comfy and the showers are so good (I was thinking about the bed and shower A LOT when the hiking was tough!). Laundry service and luggage storage are really helpful too. We felt very safe here and we definitely recommend this hostel!
If you are looking for an actual hot shower for more than 2 minutes, search no longer! I had a wonderful 4 night stay in this hostel. It is newly renovated, therefore not many reviews. Whatsapp for reservations. The staff was super polite and helped me to find a solution to get out of la paz due to blokkades. Great location!
the rooms are beautiful, but i was shocked how easy it was to open locked room doors, u can just push them open. also windows dont close fully. i didnt feel safe, and didnt feel my stuff would be safe (receptionist said dont worry, we have cameras - i dont wanna watch it on camera afterwards tbh). so i asked to cancel, after some discussion ("all our doors are like this, no one had a problem yet") i was allowed to cancel and got refunded. went somewhere elsey where i felt safe. 2 stars for beautiful rooms and my right to cancel with refund refund. they will need to replace the doors or get better locks, thats it.
