Description
DAY 1: UYUNI – TRAIN CEMETERY – COLCHANI – INCAHUASI ISLAND We begin the adventure at 09:00 a.m. with a visit to the Uyuni Train Cemetery to see the first locomotives in Bolivia. Then we will go to the town of Colchani, to see traditional crafts and salt. We will continue towards the great Uyuni salt flat, to tour the vast white expanse of salt, where we will also visit the Ojos del Salar and a Salt Museum made entirely of salt and the great Incahuasi Island, where we will take a walk to the top of the island to see giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations. In this place we will take some time to take some fun photos with the perspectives on the white surface of the salt flat. DAY 2: ALTIPLANIC LAGOONS – VALLEY OF THE ROCKS. On the second day we will go to the Altiplanica Lagoons, where you can see a great variety of flamingos among other highland birds. We can also see an active volcano in the distance (Volcan Ollague). To then head to the Valley of the Rocks, where you can see the different rock formations, passing through typical towns of the Bolivian highlands. You will end the tour in Uyuni.Includes
