Itinerary Day by Day Day 1: San Pedro - Hito Cajón – Huayllajara. The tour starts from 7:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. (Chilean Hour) Picking up passengers from hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. After completing the migration process at the Chile-Bolivia border, depart from Hito Cajón, the Bolivian border point, at 09:30 a.m. (Bolivian Hour) in a 4WD vehicle with a Private English-speaking guide. Tour highlights include: • Lincancabur Volcano Viewpoint • Green Lagoon and White Lagoon • Salvador Dalí Desert • Polques Hot Springs • Sol de Mañana Geysers • Red Lake with flamingos Night rest: Basic Hostel in Huayllajara: 6-bed shared room for the same group from the 4WD car tour, with shared restroom facilities. Meals: Lunch and Dinner. Day 2: Huayllajara – Agencha Begin your trip after breakfast at 7:00 a.m. with visits to: • Stone Tree • Siloli Desert • Cañapa Lagoon • Hedionda Lagoon • Chiarcota Lagoon On Lagoons, you can observe flamingos in their natural habitat. Next, continue along the rocky road to visit: • Ollague Volcano Viewpoint • Rock Valley Night rest: Basic Hostel in Agencha: twin or 3-bed shared room for the same group from the 4WD car tour, with private toilets in each room. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Day 3: Agencha – Uyuni Town Start your journey after breakfast with visits to: • Uyuni Salt Flats • Incahuasi Island (to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral) • A hotel made completely out of salt, now used as a museum and restaurant • Flags of the World (where you can bring your own flag and place it for free) • Monument of Dakar Racing Next, continue visiting: • The small settlement of Colchani (salt miners’ workshops next to the salt flats) Here, you can find handicrafts made of salt and textile art made from llama and alpaca wool, which make excellent souvenirs. Finally, arrive at Uyuni town around 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch. Important Information *During the rainy season (from January to April), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island. We also may sleep in a different location due to road access.
