From Cusco: 2-Night, 1-Day Lake Titicaca Tour first night: Hotel - Bus Station - Puno. We will begin with pickup from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco from 9:00 PM to 9:20 PM. We will escort you to the bus terminal so you can board the bus and rest overnight on a sleeper bus with 180-degree reclining seats until you reach Puno. Day 1: Bus Station - Uros and Amantani Islands - Bus Station. We pick you up in Puno to take you to a place where you can have breakfast (not included) then we will pick you up by van to take you to the main port to take a boat trip to the island of the Uros. Floating island built with totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of the lake. Learn how totora reeds are woven and overlapped to build the surface of each island. As an optional activity, it is possible to take a ride on a boat called a “totora raft”, a traditional form of aquatic transportation also made of totora reeds. We will travel to the island of Amantani by boat. Upon arrival, you will go up to the island to visit its main square, temples and the locals will prepare a traditional lunch with local products. After lunch we will return to Puno and you will have the afternoon free to explore the historic center of Puno. Second night: at 21:00, go to the bus terminal to catch the 22:00 bus (if you have booked the round-trip option). Day 2: Bus Terminal - Hotel We will pick you up at the Cusco bus terminal and return you to your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco early in the morning (5:30 AM). From Cusco: 3-Night, 2-Day Lake Titicaca Tour first night: Hotel - Bus Station - Puno. Day 1: Puno – Uros Island – Amantaní We pick you up at the bus station transfer to the main port, boat trip to the island of the Uros, a floating island built with totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of the lake. Learn how totora reeds are woven and overlapped to build the surface of each island. We will travel to the island of Amantani by boat. Upon arrival, we will go up to the island to visit its main square, the temples and the locals will prepare a traditional lunch with local products. Then, we will visit the famous pre-Inca temple of Pachatata. At sunset, hike to the top of the island at 4130 m, from where you can contemplate the sunset over Lake Titicaca. Second night: Dinner and overnight at a local family's house on the island of Amantani. Day 2: Amantani - Taquile - Puno After breakfast, we will head to the island of Taquile, famous for its handicraft production and beautiful textiles. The locals even wear a special hat to indicate whether they are single, married or in a position of authority. Explore local temples, tombs and terraces from pre-Inca times, and learn about the island's traditional agricultural techniques and ancestral customs. Afterwards, return to Puno. third night: at 21:00, go to the bus terminal to catch the 22:00 bus (if you have booked the round-trip option). Day 3: We will pick you up at the Cusco bus terminal and return you to your hotel
