1 Train Cemetery These are remains of locomotives from the 9th and early 20th centuries and are an unmissable attraction when visiting Uyuni, a place to take artistic photographs. These locomotives are of German and English industry and were used to extract mineral from Cerro Rico de Potosí. 2 Colchani It is a town located 23 km, north of the city of Uyuni, families are dedicated to the extraction and processing of salt with rustic instruments and traditional tools, here we will visit a museum of the salt production process, where you can appreciate the art in salt. 3 Eyes of the Salt Flat They are small holes on the surface of the salt and have a special characteristic, they are born from the union of underground water: fresh and salty, which cause a chemical reaction and produces the effect of boiling water. 4 HOTEL CASA DE SAL We will head to the blinding whiteness of the salt flat 15 minutes from Colchani, we will stop to visit the Hotel de Sal and appreciate its interesting architecture. 5 Incahuasi Island The high island, formed by volcanic rock, becomes an extraordinary viewpoint of the white salt plain, and is also home to enormous ancient cacti as well as an isolated colony of vizcachas and hummingbirds.Includes
