This is hidden gem of a place to stay in La paz. Room are spacious and beds is comfortable and with curtains. It is the best shower in Latin America and I have been traveling around this region close to a year. It's definitely a bang for the buck. The location is the best! I will not be surprise if this place will be famous soon.

Stayed at Hotel Marti with my girlfriend and we both really enjoyed it. From the moment we checked in it felt like a relaxed and easy place to stay. The room was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed without feeling cramped. The bed was a really good size and super comfortable, which honestly made a big difference after being out all day. We both slept really well the whole time. One thing we ended up loving was the coffee spot downstairs. We didn’t expect much at first but it turned into part of our routine every morning. It was just really convenient to head down, grab a good coffee, and start the day without having to go searching for somewhere nearby. Nice atmosphere too, not too busy or noisy. The overall vibe of the hotel is simple but done right. It’s not trying to be anything fancy, but everything works, it’s clean, and it feels looked after. Staff were friendly enough and everything ran smoothly during our stay. It just felt comfortable and stress free, which is exactly what we wanted. Would definitely come back and stay again next time.

The hostel staff were nice and helpful. They went out of their way to give me some information on tour operators they recommended for going to the Salar de Uyuni (Altitude tours was awesome btw). The rooms are a little tightly packed but as this is a hostel you can't complain as this is what you're paying for. Although small, the rooms were clean and each bed had curtains for privacy. The beds were a little squeaky though, which might bother some if you're already having trouble sleeping. Also not every bed had an outlet for charging phones or whatever. The bathroom had hot water but you have to let it run for a few minutes first. Location wise the place is great. Tons of restaurants in the immediate area. There is a pretty good in house restaurant / cafe. 20 minute walk to the witches market or the El Prado teleferico station, supermarket a couple blocks away and a whole mall about 20-30 minutes walk away too

Nice private rooms with comfy beds. The 6 bed dorms felt a little cramped, but lockers were big enough to hold my 30l backpack and they have hangers for jackets. Showers are nice and hot with good pressure. Relaxed place attracting pleasant guests, but no guarantee you'll socialise as it's more of a place to rest with a lovely cafe downstairs, also frequented by locals later in the day. The coffee is good! The staff here are also great and they can help you with tours if you wish. The company they use for the Death Road mountain biking are excellent and I recommend it. It's a bit of a walk from the Witches Market area (which is a tourist trap anyway, so I didn't mind that), but there are plenty of good food options and some bars just down the road. I'd stay again.

Hotel Marti completely exceeded our expectations—it’s easily one of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and the hot shower with strong pressure was heavenly. The café downstairs is a true gem with exceptional food we loved so much we ate there daily. But the staff are what make this place special: unbelievably kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They checked on us when we were ill and even surprised us with breakfast and cake for our honeymoon. A perfect stay in La Paz—thank you for everything!
