Knocking a star off because we stayed in 2 rooms and in both the mattress sloped inwards so we both kept waking up throughout the night. 5* for friendliness/helpfulness of the staff and otherwise everything else was great!

Although the hotel rooms are charming, and the location is decent, I was very disappointed with this hotel. I stayed there for three nights and had a friends stay with me for two of the nights. On the third day, they told me that there would be an additional $17 charge per night that would be added to my already $30 a night bill, even though they didn’t have breakfast or anything. On booking it showed the difference was only seven dollars for two people instead of one. No big deal however, when I left the hotel and wanted to go back a few days later, I asked them about a rate and they quoted me something which was $16 more than the booking price. I sent them a picture of the booking price and asked that they would match it but instead, they went and changed the price on booking to the price that they had quoted me over the phone. Absolutely astounding that they would do that, especially to a returning guest. So I ended up booking an amazing condo on Airbnb for $28 that was in a modern high-rise, completely refurbished with amazing views. Worked out in the end.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and our rooms were fantastic - clean and comfortable.
