Description
Day 1: Transfer to Uyuni We will start this adventure by picking you up from your hotel in Sucre and transferring you to the bus terminal to travel to Uyuni. The bus will depart for Uyuni from Sucre at approximately 20:00 hours. Day 2: Uyuni - Uyuni Salt Flat We will start picking you up at the bus terminal in Uyuni and then drive you to our cafeteria where you will have a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we will head to the train cemetery, where we can explore the old locomotives and learn more about their history. We will continue our tour heading towards the community of Colchani, known as the gateway to the Salar. Here we will be able to admire rustic handicraft workshops and the old table salt micro-processor. We will continue our expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni, making brief stops to witness the salt extraction, the 'eyes of the salt' and the Hotel de Sal Blanca. This hotel, where even the furniture is made of salt, now functions as a fascinating museum. Then we will head to the most famous island of the Salar, located in its center, Incahuasi Island. Here we will enjoy hiking among extensive cacti, contemplate marine rock fossils and enjoy 360° panoramic views from the lookout point. To finish our tour, we will return to the town of Uyuni.Includes
