Description

DAY 1: UYUNI – COLCHANI – INCAHUSI ISLAND – COQUESA The adventure begins at 10:30 a.m. with a visit to the Uyuni Train Cemetery, where you can see the first locomotives in Bolivia. Afterwards, we will explore the picturesque town of Colchani to admire traditional crafts and salt products. We will continue to the majestic Uyuni Salt Flat, where we will walk across the vast white surface, visit the Ojos del Salar and explore a Salt Museum built entirely of this mineral. The journey will also take us to the imposing Incahuasi Island, where we will hike to the top to marvel at giant cacti and rock formations of petrified coral. You will have time to capture fun photos with the unique perspective offered by the white surface of the salt flat. The day will culminate in the picturesque town of Coquesa, located at the foot of the Tunupa Volcano, where you will spend the night. DAY 2: COQUESA – MUMMIES – MIRADOR – UYUNI The second day begins at 07:00 a.m. after a delicious breakfast. After completing the corresponding formalities at the registry office, we will continue the circuit until we reach the viewpoint (4200 meters above sea level). Here, we will admire the mummies dating back to the Pre-Inca era, a fascinating cemetery that reveals the way our ancestors buried their dead. A local guide will provide us with detailed explanations about the mummies. From this point, we will enjoy the beauty and immensity of the wonderful white desert, with its surrounding islands and mountains. Back at the lodge, we will enjoy lunch. During the return to Uyuni, we will marvel at the unique landscape of the salt flat, making sure to capture unforgettable photographs with the impressive perspectives that this environment offers.
