Discover the Uyuni Salt Flats on a full-day tour from Uyuni. Explore the Train Cemetery, the Colchani Salt Factories, and the Flags Plaza and Salt Hotel. Visit the Uyuni Salt Flat, Incahuasi Island, and watch the sunset. Start your day at 10:30 in Uyuni, visit to the Train Cemetery, where you’ll see the old train cars from the Bolivian Railway Company—a spot full of history. Next, head to Colchani, a small town where you can buy salt-made souvenirs and learn a bit about how salt is produced in Bolivia. As you enter the Uyuni Salt Flat, the largest in the world, come across some unique underground rivers surfacing as saltwater springs—a rare geological sight. Pass by the Dakar Rally monument and the world’s first salt hotel. Visit the World Flags Plaza, where you’ll also find the first salt hotel ever built. Take a break and enjoy lunch. After lunch, head to a perfect spot for those cool perspective and mirror-effect photos (the mirror effect only happens during the rainy season).
