PICK UP TIME 07:15 Am From your acomodation. We head to the lake port of Puno, to board a motor boat (Fast boat) where we will travel to the floating island of Uros for a period of 15 to 20 minutes. We will have a friendly guide in English and Spanish from the departure point who will introduce us to the life of the inhabitants. UROS ISLAND The Uros are a very old native community, made up of more than 40 islands, which are built with reed reeds by their own inhabitants. They are used for the construction of their homes, boats (rafts), fuel and as food for human consumption. On this excursion you visit the main island and tour around 2 or 3 islands for 1 Hour each (with the option of taking the ride in the typical Totora boats). Then we continue traveling to Taquile Island. for approximately 1:30 minutes TAQUILE ISLAND In Taquile we will spend 3 hours visiting the place observing the landscape and customs, we will have lunch at a local restaurant where we will have a typical lunch based on trout. We will have free time to explore the island and meet its inhabitants who will show us their way of life through their textiles.
