Description
Begin your day with a journey to the vast altiplanic plains that guard Tiwanaku, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, feel the silence and energy of a place that was an astronomical, political, and spiritual center for over 2,000 years.
Walk among stone giants like the Kalasasaya Temple, the imposing Ponce Monolith, and the mystical Sun Gate, symbols of the cosmic knowledge of this culture. In the Semi-Subterranean Temple, carved faces watch you from centuries past, while the altiplanic wind seems to narrate hidden stories among the stones.
Before returning to the city, enjoy a typical lunch in the town of Tiwanaku, reconnecting with local gastronomy and its ancestral ingredients.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to El Alto, where a completely different scene awaits. Here, one of the most vibrant cultural expressions of the 21st century is born: the Cholets, mansions and event halls that transform the urban landscape with their futuristic, intense, and proudly Aymara style.
Designed by Freddy Mamani, the cholets are a visual feast: electric colors, geometric shapes inspired by Andean iconography, and facades that celebrate identity, success, and living culture. Each construction is an architectural work of art, and each detail has a meaning.
