Day 1: Route of the Sun 06:00 AM: Departure by tourist bus from Cusco. 08:00 AM: First stop in Andahuaylillas to visit the Church of San Pedro Apostol, often called the 'Sistine Chapel of the Americas.' 10:00 AM: Stop in Raqchi to explore the Temple of Wiracocha, an impressive Inca ruin. 12:00 PM: Lunch in Sicuani. 02:00 PM: Visit La Raya, the highest point of the journey (4,335 m.a.s.l.), offering breathtaking views of the Andes. 04:00 PM: Visit the Pukara Museum, renowned for its pre-Inca sculptures and pottery. 05:30 PM: Arrival in Puno.
