Description

Following pickup from your central Puno hotel in the morning, cruise across Lake Titicaca to see the artificial floating islands built by the indigenous Uros people. Enjoy unique views of the nature reserve and spot wild animals such as flamingos, ducks and other endemic birds. Be warmly welcomed by local residents upon arrival at the island and listen to their traditional songs. Learn about their extraordinary history and culture from your tour guide and enjoy the stunning natural and man-made landscapes of approximately 75 small and large islands. Use your free time to wander around the islands and interact with local residents. Take part in an additional experience and take a ride with the local population on a reed boat. After 3.5 hours we will return to Puno city where we will take you to your hotel in the city center.
