Description

FIRST DAY: We will depart at 8:00 a.m., pick you up at your hotels in the city center, and transport you to the port of Puno to board the boat for the 2D/1N trip to the islands of Lake Titicaca. The first island you will visit is the floating island of the Uros, a floating village that displays a lot of culture in its way of life. You will hear explanations from the tour guide about this wonderful floating village, then continue the trip to Amantani Island to spend the night in a local family home, who will provide visitors with lodging and 3 meals included. In the afternoon, you can take a walk to the highest part of the island called Pachatata, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and a beautiful sunset. In the evening after dinner, you will share a moment of local celebration with the families of the island. SECOND DAY: The next day, you will continue the trip to Taquile Island for a hike to appreciate its beautiful landscapes and agricultural terraces. On this day, you will have lunch at a local restaurant on the island. This lunch is not included. Finally, you will take the return boat and arrive at the port of Puno at approximately 3:30 p.m. We can then take you by car to the Plaza de Armas in the city of Puno.
