Description

In a world full of sheep... be an alpaca Our mission? To show you La Paz and El Alto beyond the postcard pictures. In just a few hours, we’ll zip across the cable cars and dive deep into the urban heartbeat of these cities—exploring stories that don't make it to travel blogs: Plaza Murillo A place with a history as turbulent as it is fascinating, this square is witness to tragic moments in our history and the most important ones as well, it's also a place where the nation underwent a monumental transformation, from a past marked by racism and exclusion to becoming a symbol of inclusion and diversity. San Pedro Prison Our infamous prison which is a place where conventional rules do not apply and surrealism becomes the norm, we will discover the chilling stories behind its walls from famous prisoners to punishment methods that defy all logic. From there, we ride the iconic cable car to the heights of El Alto, where the views are breathtaking — but the real beauty is in the stories are there. Mercado Villa Dolores A vibrant local market that offers a glimpse into the beauty and resilience of our city's people, here you will witness the colorful tapestry of our community where despite living in modest circumstances, joy and happiness abound, the warmth and hospitality of locals shine through. The local shamans' street This location is not a tourist area but a sacred space so we must respect the customs and rules, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual connection between us and the mother earth and we'll have the opportunity to discuss the creepy side of our culture, while this may seem shocking to some it's a practice deeply rooted in our culture's beliefs in Pachamama, it's important to approach this experience with an open mind. Cable car we will take the cable car back to the dow town where we end the tour, close to everywhere around the city.
