Description
Explore & have an authentic adventure inside La Paz's & El Alto's most important areas, learn about our customs, quality of life, and enjoy visiting this full of life and beautiful chaos with a local who's IN LOVE with her city. You won't want to leave!
Our adventure will begin at Plaza España in the Sopocachi neighbourhood (our bohemian quarter), where we'll start at one of the coolest viewpoints in town, which is also full of history & fun facts. If you're new in town, you'll get some sense of orientation after all the info has been provided, and then we'll walk to the nearest cable car station.
We'll travel across the city using this amazing and very efficient transportation method (we'll also see El Alto and discover some hidden gems), enjoying more information about both cities, taking in the sights, and capturing the greatest views.
Important Note: On Thursdays & Sundays, we'll also walk around the famous flea market in El Alto shortly, so our tour will last approximately 10 minutes longer.
After our ride, we'll walk around the historical center learning more about architecture, late history, and current politics. To truly enjoy the city, you need to understand it like one of us, right?
We'll finally conclude our adventure by walking around the tourist area, where, besides finding cool souvenir shops, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the Andean religion and discover how we, the paceños, honor our traditions and keep our culture alive.
