Description
Your evening begins with pick-up from downtown Museo de la coca, where we take you on a 40-minute ride up to El Alto. As we arrive, you’ll join the vibrant crowd waiting for one of Bolivia’s most unique shows: Cholitas Wrestling.
Wrestling in Bolivia is known as an entertaining sport, and while locals attend only on special occasions, today the event has become an authentic cultural attraction. It allows the cholitas to earn a living through their talent and courage.
Inside the arena, you’ll see the women step into the ring dressed in their traditional skirts and braids, performing jumps, throws, and powerful moves that mix sport with culture. You will laugh, cheer, and feel the atmosphere as you support them directly.
With us you are not just a spectator – you are contributing to a vision of responsible tourism. We partner exclusively with Cholitas Wrestling Líder, the official company that pays the fighters, ensuring your visit truly benefits these incredible women.
At the end of the night, you’ll return with unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to La Paz’s strength and resilience.
