Explore the city's famous cable car system and take a guided tour of the colonial quarter, including the Church of San Francisco and Murillo Square, where we will see the cathedral of Our Lady of La Paz and the Legislative and Government Palace. After some free time for dinner, board the overnight bus to Uyuni. Day two starts with an early arrival in Uyuni, where you can enjoy breakfast to your liking at a local restaurant. Hop into a SUV 4x4 and head to the Uyuni Salt Flat, the world's largest salt desert. On the way visit the Uyuni Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani to learn about salt extraction & get to know the Playa Blanca Hotel surprising for its complete salt infrastructure. Enjoy a traditional regional lunch before exploring the Uyuni Salt Flat & Incahuasi Island, known for its giant cacti. After some free time for photos, return to Uyuni town for dinner and shopping before taking the overnight bus back to La Paz. On the final day, arrive in La Paz at 5 am and transfer to Desaguadero to cross back into Peru, here enjoy breakfast to your liking before leaving for the enigmatic AYMARA ROUTE; we start in 'Pomata' to know the colonial Santiago Apostol Church, then explore Juli, known as Little Rome for its numerous religious buildings. Visit either the church of San Juan de Letrán or Our Lady of the Assumption, depending on availability. Subsequently visit the Portal of “Aramu Muro”, also called DOOR OF THE GODS, it is a historical-mythological place carved into the rock. People who visit the place and have placed their hands on the small door comment that they feel a great energy flow through their bodies and have strange visions and sounds of music that they describe as “rhythmic, unusual and extraordinary”; nowadays the portal is visited by believers who follow the theory of the “Great White Brotherhood”. Then visit the archaeological site 'Molloko', it is a funerary center corresponding to the late intermediate Lupaka (Pre Inka era) and the late period (Inka era), where the contact and fusion of the Inca and Lupaka cultures is evident. Last stop, 'Chucuito', you will find the “Solar Clock” in the main square which marks the time according to the shadow that covers its lower part, the church of La Asunción and the green Missionary Cross. Say goodbye to Chucuito by visiting the Inkauyo, Temple of Inca Fertility. Conclude your journey with a return to Puno, arriving at your hotel around 2 pm.
