Description

Your tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel where you will then head to Copacabana. When arriving at the border of Peru and Bolivia your passport and migration card will be checked by authorities from both countries. Once arriving in Copacabana you will visit the Sanctuary of Copacabana and then have lunch in town. In the afternoon at 1:30 PM the tour will head to Sun Island. Enjoy a 1.5 hour ride on a motor boat. Once you get to the island, stretch your legs on a 40 minute walk. See the archaeological complexes of Pilko Kaina on the shore of the island, the Chincana ruins, the Temple of the Sung, the Sacred Rock and the Table of Ceremonies. Spend time in the archaeological museum to learn more about the history of the impressive complexes. Your day tour will end with a drop-off at your hotel in Puno at 8:30 PM.
