Description

Day 1: Puno-Desaguadero Border-La Paz-City Tour-Luxury Bus to Uyuni. At 6 am we board our private transport to the border of Peru and Bolivia. Upon arrival at the border we will meet with our Bolivian team who will help us with the visa process (all documents and procedures will be completed prior to the trip). The border control for both Peru and Bolivia takes approximately 30 minutes. We will then board our private transportation to the city of La Paz. Upon arrival at El Alto de La Paz, we will take one of the cable cars and descend to the central part of the city for lunch. We will then visit the Witches' Market and Murillo Square. Between 9 pm, we will board our luxury bus with reclining seats and heating that will take us to the city of Uyuni. Day 2: Uyuni-Train Cemetery-Colchani-Salar de Uyuni-Incahuasi Island-San Juan. At 5 a.m., we will arrive in the city of Uyuni, where our Uyuni team will be waiting to take us to our accommodation to shower, have breakfast, rest for a few hours, and organize our personal belongings for the 3-day trip to the salt flats and Abaroa National Park. At 10:00 a.m., we will board our Jeep to begin our adventure visiting the train cemetery, continuing on to the town of Colchani to observe the production of salt, salt crystals, and salt eyes. After lunch, you will visit the Playa Blanca salt hotel, which is now a museum where you can find giant monuments from the Dakar Rally, observe the majesty of the salt flats, and take photos. Then you will head to Incahuasi Island where you will see giant cacti and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Then we will head to the community of San Juan where we will spend the first night in a salt hostel. Day 3: San Juan, lagoons, stone tree, red lagoon - Night in Huayllajara 8:00 a.m. Breakfast at the hostel, then continue with the tour where we will visit the Ollague volcano viewpoint, four altiplano lagoons where we will have lunch at one of the lagoons, and visit the desert where you will see rock formations such as the famous stone tree. Finally, we will head to the red lagoon to observe the pink flamingos and learn about the coloration of the water. Night in Huayajara Day 4: Salvador Dalí Desert - Polques hot springs, geyser - Return to Uyuni - Luxury bus to La Paz. At 5:00 a.m., we will visit the geysers and fumaroles of the morning sun, an area of volcanic activity. Afterwards, we will head to the Polques hot springs, where the water is 35 degrees Celsius, and we will have breakfast and time to enjoy the place. We will visit the Salvador Dalí Desert, a lagoon, and a view of the Licancabur volcano. Finally, we will return to the city of Uyuni, where we will visit the town of Villamar and Villa Alota, where we will have our last lunch. Arrival in Uyuni at 5:30 p.m. Time for dinner and then boarding the bus to La Paz. End of the program.
