Description

Itinerary After picking you up at the agreed meeting point in Puno between 7:00 and 7:15 a.m., we will head to the place where the canoes will be waiting for us. Adventure and sightseeing await us in equal measure! We will give you some safety instructions and explain some paddling techniques. Then we will board the boats and begin paddling across Lake Titicaca. The trip to the Uros Islands will take approximately one hour. Along the way, you will have the unforgettable experience of contemplating the biodiversity of the highest navigable lake in the world. Little by little, the artificial archipelago will appear before our eyes. The local inhabitants will welcome us and show us their traditional way of life. Did you know that these islands are built with an aquatic plant called totora? After this brief stop on one of the islands, we will return to Puno. We will end the tour by dropping you off at approximately 12:00 noon in Puno.
