We will pick you up from an established location in Puno at 6:50 am, we will go by bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana. We will cross the border and reach our destination around 11:00 am. Once there, we will take a walking tour contemplating the façade of the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, from the 17th century, and discovering why this city is an important pilgrimage site in the country. Next, we will make a stop to regain strength with a meal that will include a chicken or trout dish and a drink. Afterwards, we will go to the port where a boat will be waiting for us that will take us to the nearby Isla del Sol. Enjoy the views of Lake Titicaca! When we disembark, we will begin a guided tour of approximately two hours. Could it be true that the fountain of eternal youth is located in this area? We will reveal it to you and delve into the origins of the Inca culture, admiring ancient sanctuaries. After the visit to Isla del Sol we will take the boat again to return to Copacabana.
