Description

Day 1: Depart La Paz and ascend onto the Altiplano. Explore the famous 'Sistine Chapel of the Andes' Curahuara de Carangas and Sajama National Park, a landscape dominated by Bolivia’s highest peaks. After a day of incredible views, relax and enjoy the natural hot springs. Day 2: Continue deep into the remote Altiplano, the road less traveled, where the sheer scale of the Andean landscape will make you feel small yet incredibly connected. Pass stunning lagoons, spot endemic wildlife, and enjoy amazing views. The journey culminates with an arrival at the Sabaya community. Day 3: Start the day visiting the ancestral land of Uru Chipaya, surprinsingly one of the oldest cultures in America, and later on take the main highway towards Uyuni, making the journey smoother. Along the way, cross several towns, such as Pampa Aullagas 'The Atlantis of the Andes' and Quillacas Catholic Sanctuary, each with its own cultural charm and Andean traditions. The route is framed by wide horizons and changing highland scenery, giving you time to observe rural life and enjoy short stops. By late afternoon, reach Uyuni. Day 4: Dedicate a full day to the legendary Salar de Uyuni. From Incahuasi Island to the mind-bending 'mirror effect' (seasonal), capture the most impactful photos of your life. The journey concludes at sunset (approx. 6 PM) in Uyuni or at the Airport.
