Description

The meeting will be at the bus station in La Paz at 7:40 a.m., with arrival in Copacabana at around 12:00 p.m. You will visit the Copacabana Temple before lunch. Afterwards, you will enjoy a leisurely and scenic boat ride of approximately 1½ hours to the “Island of the Sun”, where you can walk along the Inca Steps, drink from the Inca Fountain and continue with a hike to the Pilcocaina Ruins (Temple of the Sun). This hike can be a bit strenuous, but offers spectacular views of the Sacred Lake Titicaca and its main island. The return to Copacabana will be by boat, also 1½ hours, and then you will take a local bus back to La Paz, arriving at your hotel around 22:30.
