Description

Itinerary The company solely manages the logistics of this journey; there won't be any guides provided during the bus trips to each destination. Day 1: Puno - La Paz bus ticket is scheduled for 6:00 am, you have to be 30 minutes before on the bus station of Puno During the journey, we'll pass through immigration where you'll need to present your documents before continuing. By approximately 2:00 pm, we'll reach the Bolivian capital. While awaiting the bus to Uyuni, you'll have the chance to explore its cable car system, the largest in South America, offering panoramic views of the city (optional activity, at the passenger's expense). Later in the evening, you'll have free time for dinner before boarding the bus to Uyuni at 21:00 pm. Day 2: Uyuni Salt Flats - La Paz Upon arrival in Uyuni between 5 and 6 am, our staff will be ready to assist you and escort you to a café where you can enjoy breakfast at your own pace. At 10:30 am, our tour will commence with a 4x4 vehicle, transporting us to the renowned Uyuni Salt Flats, the largest salt desert globally. En route, we'll make a stop at the Uyuni train cemetery, an intriguing open-air museum showcasing Bolivia's early locomotives. We'll disembark from the 4x4 in the town of Colchani, situated near the salt flats. Here, you'll witness the process of salt extraction and visit the remarkable Playa Blanca hotel, constructed entirely from salt blocks, a marvel of architectural ingenuity! Following a regional lunch comprising appetizers, main courses, and beverages, we'll venture further into the desert until we reach Incahuasi Island, situated at the heart of the salt flats. The island's landscape varies depending on the season. Upon conclusion of the excursion, we'll return to Uyuni, where our bus will depart at 21:00 pm for the journey back to La Paz. Day 3: La Paz The bus will reach La Paz between 5:00 and 6:00 am Note: The service is subject to potential changes without prior notice due to weather conditions (such as rain, floods, etc.), strikes, demonstrations, or any other event that may disrupt the planned itinerary. No refunds will be provided for service cancellations resulting from the aforementioned reasons.
