Description

The excursion commences with hotel pickup in Cusco, followed by transportation to the Cusco terminal. You'll then board a tourist bus for the journey from Cusco to Puno, departing at 10:00 p.m. and arriving at 5:30 a.m. approx. At 7:00 a.m., we will embark to the floating island of the Uros, a journey that will take approximately 25 minutes. There, our guide will give us an introduction to the most relevant characteristics of the place, such as the construction of these artificial islands. After the explanation, you will have free time to explore and purchase handicrafts or take a ride on a handmade totora reed boat (optional). After our visit to the Uros, we will continue our journey to the Taquile Islands, enjoying the breathtaking views offered by Lake Titicaca during the journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Taquile, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the local homestays. Then, we will walk for about 30 minutes to visit the main square and the handicraft market, from where we can enjoy beautiful views of Lake Titicaca. After exploring the Taquile square and the handicraft market, we will return to the port for our return trip to Puno. Finally, we will arrive at approximately 15:30 hours.
