Description

Day 1: Route of the sun Cusco-Puno: We will go through your accommodation to take you to the bus terminal of Cusco (6:30 am approx.) First we will visit the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas. Then we will visit the Raqchi Archaeological Complex, also known as the temple of the god Wiracocha. After the visit of Raqchi we will go to the tourist restaurant, where we will have a lunch. After lunch we will go to Paso de la Raya, where the famous snow-capped Chimboya is located. Finally, we will visit the Lithic Museum of Pukara, which is located 106 km from the city of Puno, we can find ceramics and sculptures (morphic zoo figures). Finally we will go to Puno arriving at approximately 5:00 pm. Our mobility will pick them up to take them to their corresponding accommodation. Day 2: Aurochs amantani full day : We will start the tour with the pick up at your hotel at approximately 7:30 am. Immediately we will go to the port of Puno, you will take the motor boat with which you will first visit the floating islands of the Uros. Once on the floating islands, our guide will explain the interesting history of the islands and the local culture. After the explanation you will have free time to walk around the island, take photos, and spend a little over an hour visiting two floating islands. We will continue the trip for approximately three hours towards the island of Amantaní. Here a member of a local family is waiting for us to take us to their homes to have lunch. In the afternoon there will be a meeting for the walk to the highest point of the island (the Pachatata temple). At the top of the island to observe the beautiful sunset of Lake Titicaca. You will return to the city of Puno ending the tour at approximately 5:00 pm.
