From Cusco: 2-night, 1-day tour to Lake Titicaca with a visit to its popular islands: Uros and Amantani. First night: We will pick you up at your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco between 9:00 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. in our vehicle, depending on the number of people in your reservation. We will then accompany you to the Cusco bus terminal so you can board the bus and rest overnight in a sleeper bus with 180-degree reclining seats until you arrive in Puno at approximately 5:00 a.m. Day 1: Bus terminal - Uros and Amantani Islands - Bus terminal. A representative will be waiting for you and will pick you up in Puno to take you to a place where you can have breakfast (not included), and then we will pick you up between 7:30 a.m. in a van to take you to the main port and take a boat to the island of Uros. Floating island built with totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of the lake. Learn how the totora reeds are woven and layered to build the surface of each island. As an optional activity, it is possible to take a ride on a boat called a “totora raft,” a traditional means of water transportation also made from totora reeds. Afterwards, we will travel by boat to Amantani Island. Upon arrival, we will walk up to the island to visit its main square and temples, and the locals will prepare a traditional lunch with local products. You will have time to enjoy a typical lunch. To end the day, we will return to the city of Puno, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m. You will have free time from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to explore the city of Puno, its plaza and streets, have dinner, and then take a taxi back to the bus terminal to board our 10:00 p.m. bus back to the city of Cusco. Second night: return trip to Cusco, with arrival scheduled for approximately 5 a.m. That is where our service ends. From Cusco: 3-night, 2-day tour to Lake Titicaca with visits to its three most popular islands: Uros, Amantani, and Taquile. We will repeat the entire previous program, but add 1 day and 1 night. On the second night, we will stay on Amantani Island and spend the night relaxing in a family home. On the second day, we will visit Taquile Island.
