Description

Day 1: Arequipa to Chivay – Scenic Highlands & Thermal Baths Departure from Arequipa with hotel pickup. On the way to Chivay, enjoy stops to observe llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas in their natural habitat. At Patapampa (4,900 m / 16,076 ft), take in panoramic views of the volcanic mountain range before descending into the Colca Valley. Upon arrival in Chivay, optional lunch followed by transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the local thermal baths for a relaxing soak. In the evening, an optional welcome dinner with live entertainment is available. Day 2: Colca Canyon – Condors & Andean Landscapes – Transfer to Puno Early departure to explore the Colca Canyon. Visit the colorful village of Maca and its colonial church. Stop at Antahuilque viewpoint to admire pre-Inca terraces and the canyon’s dramatic beginning. Continue to Cruz del Cóndor to witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor above the canyon walls. Return to Chivay for optional lunch, then begin the journey to Puno with a scenic stop at Lagunillas Lagoon (4,400 m / 14,436 ft). Upon arrival in Puno, transfer to your hotel. Day 3: Lake Titicaca – Uros & Taquile Islands Hotel pickup for a fast boat excursion on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world (3,812 m / 12,507 ft). Visit the floating Uros Islands and discover the locals’ unique techniques for building their reed islands. Optional ride on a traditional totora boat. Continue to Taquile Island, renowned for its skilled weavers and preserved Inca traditions. Enjoy a local lunch with spectacular views of the lake and the Andes before returning to Puno in the afternoon.

Important Information

• Children under 2 years old travel free of charge, provided they sit on a parent’s lap. Hotel drop-off in the Colca Canyon area is limited to accommodations within Chivay. Hotels located outside Chivay—such as Refugio, Colca Lodge, Casitas del Colca—are not included in the transfer service. However, a taxi can be arranged at an additional cost. Hotel drop-off in Puno is available only within the city center. For accommodations outside this area, we can assist with transport arrangements for an additional fee. Our vehicles are equipped to carry large suitcases, so guests are welcome to bring full-sized luggage without concern. The program begins at approximately 07:45 on Day 1 in Arequipa. The program concludes at approximately 19:00 on Day 3 in Puno. Lunch, dinner, and entrance fees to Colca Canyon and the thermal baths may be added during the booking process as optional services.
