Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the main square in Samaipata. Enjoy a scenic drive to the trailhead, where your hike begins. Start with an easy trail that leads to a resting point with stunning views of the mountains. As you continue, the hike becomes steeper and more demanding, but the reward is worth it when you booked the (FULL DAY/SUNRISE TOUR). Reach the top and be greeted with breathtaking views of “El Codo de los Andes,” where the Andes Mountains change direction, dividing the tropical Amazon basin forests from the dry Chaco lowlands.
