Description
The tour begins at 7:10 am, visiting key sites across the Bolivian Altiplano. Day one includes Blanca and Verde lagoons at the base of Licancabur volcano, the Salvador Dali desert, and Polques hot springs with optional swimming. You will also see Colorada Lagoon, home to over 30,000 flamingos.
On day two, explore Valle de Rocas, the World Cup area, and Italia Perdida, where volcanic rock formations resemble an abandoned city. Visit The Camel area to observe local animals, then Laguna Misteriosa (Catal) with a chance to see typical Andean flora and fauna. Additional stops include Laguna Vinto, Mirador, and Cañon de la Anaconda.
The final day starts early with a transfer to the salt flat to watch sunrise over the white salt crust. Afterwards, visit Incahuasi Island for a short walk among giant cacti and panoramic views of the salt flat. Then stop at the Salt Museum and the village of Colchani to buy handicrafts. The tour concludes with a visit to the train cemetery before arriving in Uyuni.
