Itinerary

Day 1: Giant Cacti and the White Desert
Begin with a professional pick-up from the Airport, Bus Terminal, or Downtown Hotel. Visit the Train Cemetery to see 19th-century steam locomotives, followed by Colchani to observe traditional salt extraction and browse the local handicraft market. Enter the Uyuni Salt Flats stopping at the Salt Museum, Dakar Monument, and Flags of the World. Hike among giant cacti on Incahuasi Island and enjoy a sunset toast with a glass of wine. Overnight in a local salt hostel with shared rooms.

Day 2: High Altiplano Lagoons and Wildlife
After breakfast, head south to Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve via Chiguana Desert, stopping at Ollagüe Volcano viewpoints. Visit the High Plateau Lagoons—Cañapa, Hedionda, and Honda—where three species of Andean flamingos can be seen. Explore the Siloli Desert’s Stone Tree rock formation and end the day at Laguna Colorada, known for its red waters and flamingos. Overnight at a basic mountain lodge with shared rooms.

Day 3: Volcanic Activity and Hot Springs
Start early to explore the Sol de Mañana Geysers with mud pools and fumaroles at 5,000 meters elevation. Relax in the Polques Hot Springs surrounded by the Andean landscape. Continue to the Dali Desert’s surreal rock formations and the Green Lagoon at Licancabur Volcano’s base. Return to Uyuni via Villa Mar and the Valley of the Rocks, arriving around 5:00 p.m. The tour ends at your chosen location.
