Description
You will be picked up from your hotel or the bus station in Puno at 6:30 am and transferred to Puno’s port on Lake Titicaca. Board a boat to visit the Floating Islands of Los Uros, made of reeds. Your guide will explain the islands' history, local economy, and traditional crafts.
Next, travel by boat to Taquile Island, known for its cultural, ethnic, and archaeological significance. Observe the island’s customs, especially the men’s traditional textile work, known for its water-resistant qualities passed down through generations. You may purchase a typical lunch locally (not included). The tour concludes with a return to Puno port by 4:00 pm.
