Start the salt flat excursion at 10:30 AM. First, visit the Train Cemetery near Uyuni. Next, explore Colchani, a small town known for salt miner workshops and crafts made from salt and llama or alpaca wool textiles. These items make excellent souvenirs.

Cross the vast salt flat taking photos by the 'Ojos de Agua Salada' and visit a salt hotel now serving as a museum-restaurant. Stop at the Flags of the World site, where you can add your own flag at no cost, and see the Dakar Rally monument.

Lunch will be served during the tour. After eating, hike to the top of Incahuasi Island to view giant cacti and coral fossil rock formations. Note that access to Incahuasi Island is closed during the rainy season from January to March.

Enjoy group photo opportunities on the expansive white salt surface, experimenting with perspective and scale for memorable images.
