The tour begins at the Train Cemetery, located on the edge of the Salar de Uyuni southwest of Uyuni city. This site is the largest railway cemetery globally, featuring old, abandoned trains.
Next, visit the village of Colchani to view artisanal products and local souvenirs. At the salar, observe the 'eyes of the water' and learn about the salt extraction process.
The itinerary continues to Incahuasi Island, famous for its large cacti formations. Afterward, travel to the town of Tahua, situated at the foot of Tunupa Volcano by the salar, where lunch is provided.
The day concludes with a return to the Salar’s shores to watch the sunset beneath one of the clearest skies in the world.
