Description

The tour begins early morning in La Paz, followed by a one-hour transport to “La Cumbre” at 4,700 meters above sea level, the starting point for the ride.

Stage 1: Descend 22 km on paved asphalt road. After about 45 minutes, the group stops at a police checkpoint where each participant pays Bs. 50 for national park entrance. This section helps riders build confidence. A security van follows behind the group, with scheduled stops for water, photos, and bike checks.

Stage 2: Ride approximately 10 km on the “Death Road” in a compact group prioritizing safety. Snack time includes chocolate, fruit, and other refreshments.

Stage 3: Continue for about 32 km, starting with a splash at a waterfall. The tour concludes in Yolosa at a hotel offering showers, a swimming pool, and lunch. Return transport departs around 5:00 pm, driving back to La Paz via the new road.
