Discover the breathtaking Uyuni Salt Flats on an unforgettable group excursion through Bolivia’s spectacular white desert. Travel with an experienced driver-guide who speaks Spanish or English, shares insights into local culture and history, and helps you capture stunning photographs along the way.

Your adventure begins at 10:30 AM at our office in Uyuni. The first stop is the Train Cemetery, a fascinating historical site featuring old locomotives that reflect the region’s railway heritage.

Next, we will visit Colchani, a traditional village known for its artisanal salt production and local handicrafts. Here, you will learn about the community’s traditions and the techniques used to produce and work with salt.

We will then venture into the immense salt flats to explore salt extraction areas and visit the iconic Playa Blanca Salt Hotel, now serving as a museum. Along the way, you will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before continuing your journey across this extraordinary landscape.

Our adventure continues to Incahuasi Island, famous for its towering cacti and breathtaking panoramic views of the salt flats. Access to the marked walking trail is optional and costs approximately USD 5 extra.

Important: During the rainy season, from January to March, access to Incahuasi Island may be restricted due to high water levels. If any itinerary changes are necessary, we will notify you in advance. If the revised itinerary does not suit your plans, you may cancel your booking and receive a 100% refund, subject to the stated booking conditions.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a spectacular sunset in the heart of the Uyuni Salt Flats, accompanied by a tasting of red wine and snacks. Weather permitting, you may also witness the famous mirror effect, when a thin layer of water reflects the sky and transforms the salt flats into an extraordinary natural spectacle, perfect for unique photographs.
