Description
Day 1: Pickup is from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama by minibus to the Chile-Bolivia border. After border crossing, transfer to a 4x4 vehicle for six passengers. Visit Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde near Licancabur volcano, then explore the Salvador Dali desert and the Polques hot springs where you can bathe. Continue to Sol de Mañana geysers with intermittent 90°C steam eruptions. End the day at Laguna Colorada, a flamingo nesting site. Overnight stay at a hostel in Villamar.
Day 2: Visit the Valley of Rocks, known as World Cup or Lost Italy, featuring volcanic rock formations resembling an abandoned city. See wildlife at Camello and Sora. Stop at a lagoon to observe typical Altiplano flora and fauna. Visit Laguna Vinto, the Mirador, and Anaconda Canyon. Overnight at Colcha K Salt Hotel.
Day 3: Early morning drive to the Uyuni salt flat for sunrise. Explore Incahuasi Island with its giant cactus and limestone formations offering panoramic views. Visit the Salt Museum, then stop in Colchani village to buy handicrafts. Photographic stop at the train cemetery before arriving in Uyuni to conclude the tour.
