Description
The trip departs La Paz around 7 am, reaching Tiquina after approximately 3 hours. At Tiquina, cross the narrowest point of Lake Titicaca by boat, then continue by a 30-minute bus ride to the town of Copacabana.
After lunch in Copacabana, board a boat to Isla del Sol to visit the Inca Steps and the Inca Fountain, also called the Youth Fountain. The Inca Fountain symbolizes the three pillars of Aymara culture: Ama Sua (do not steal), Ama Llulla (do not lie), and Ama Quella (do not be lazy).
Next, visit Yumani town before returning to the port to catch a boat back to Copacabana. Explore its church, main square, and crafts market before boarding the bus to La Paz. The tour concludes with arrival in La Paz around 10 pm.
