Description
The activity starts at 3:30 PM at Buhos Tours meeting point. From there, you will walk 10 to 15 minutes to the cable car stop heading toward Ciudad del Alto, then take a bus to the Cholita Exhibition Hall.
Upon arrival, the tour guide provides insights about the mural honoring women in polleras (traditional skirts). Inside, explore the gym where the Cholita wrestlers train, then visit the exhibition room featuring a wrestling ring prototype, wood-carved art, masks, and displays of Cholitas’ clothing that offer detailed cultural context. Visitors can try on polleras, corsets, blankets, and hats if they wish.
After the exhibition, proceed to the wrestling ring room to watch the 'Cholitas Wrestling' show, featuring both male and female wrestlers. Enjoy popcorn and a soft drink during the performance. After the show, there is a photo session opportunity with the wrestlers. Return bus transportation to La Paz town center is provided around 8:00 PM.
