Meet your guide, receive your full-suspension mountain bike with hydraulic disc brakes and protective equipment, and take part in a safety briefing before starting the cycling route.

La Cumbre and First Downhill Section

Begin with approximately 22 km of cycling along a paved mountain road. Use this opening section to become familiar with the bike while descending through the high-altitude scenery of the Andes.

After approximately 45 minutes of riding, stop at the checkpoint before entering the Death Road. The entrance fee of 50 BOB per person is paid here. Take time for water, photos, rest, and a bike check before continuing.

The Death Road Descent

Continue onto the historic Death Road under the supervision of your professional guide. Cycle along narrow mountain roads surrounded by steep slopes, waterfalls, and increasingly dense vegetation as the scenery changes from the high Andes toward the Yungas.

Follow the pace established by your guide throughout this section. A support vehicle accompanies the group along the route, with stops available for water, photos, rest, and bike checks when needed.

Final 32 km to Yolosa

Continue downhill for approximately 32 km through the warmer and greener landscapes of the Yungas. Pass the famous waterfall section and experience the gradual change in altitude, vegetation, and climate before completing the cycling portion near Yolosa.
