The Amboró Park sightseeing tour begins with a 6 AM pickup from your lodging. After a drive, the first stop is breakfast in the park’s integrated economic development area, where community members practice sustainable activities.

With a local guide, the group hikes into the forest, entering the conservation area after about an hour. The guide shares insights about local animal and plant species important to the community, as well as recent local history. Participants have opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.

The trail crosses a river and offers scenic views. Bring a change of t-shirt and sandals for walking in the water, plus a swimsuit to enjoy the natural pools. It is recommended to bring a snack to eat during breaks.
