08:00–09:00 a.m. – Hotel Pickup
Begin with pickup from selected hotels in downtown La Paz and travel toward the ancient city of Tiwanaku.
10:40 a.m. – Tiwanaku Archaeological Site
Upon arrival, begin your visit at the Ceramic and Lithic Museums, where you can discover archaeological pieces and learn about the history, culture, beliefs, and achievements of the Tiwanaku civilization.
Continue through the main archaeological complex and discover the famous Gate of the Sun, Kalasasaya Temple, Semi-Subterranean Temple, ancient monoliths, and ceremonial enclosures. Your guide will explain the history and significance of these impressive structures.
The experience continues at Puma Punku, one of the most fascinating archaeological areas of Tiwanaku. Admire its enormous stone blocks, precise cuts, and sophisticated construction techniques while learning about its connection to this ancient civilization.
02:15 p.m. – Lunch Break
Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch is not included and can be purchased directly at the restaurant.
03:00 p.m. – Return to La Paz
Depart Tiwanaku and begin the journey back toward La Paz.
04:30 p.m. – Arrival in La Paz
Arrive in La Paz at approximately 4:30 p.m. You will be dropped off at Plaza San Francisco, where the tour concludes.
