PRIVATE 2-DAY LAKE TITICACA & SUN ISLAND ADVENTURE
Discover Lake Titicaca on a private 2-day journey from La Paz. Explore Copacabana, travel by boat across the highest navigable lake in the world, discover the history and landscapes of Sun Island, and visit fascinating Inca sites with your bilingual guide.
DAY 1 – LA PAZ, COPACABANA & SUN ISLAND
Begin your adventure at approximately 7:30 AM with pickup directly from your hotel in the city of La Paz. Travel by private transportation through the spectacular landscapes of the Bolivian Altiplano toward Lake Titicaca.
Arrive in Copacabana, a picturesque town located on the shores of the lake. Enjoy an included lunch before heading to the port and boarding your boat to Sun Island.
Explore Sun Island, considered one of the most sacred places in Inca tradition. Visit the famous Yumani Staircase and the Sacred Fountain of the Incas while your guide shares the history, legends, and cultural importance of the island.
In the afternoon, walk to the Pallakasa viewpoint and admire spectacular views over Lake Titicaca. Enjoy the sunset before continuing to your accommodation on Sun Island.
Enjoy an included dinner and spend the night in a double room with a private bathroom.
DAY 2 – INCA RUINS, COPACABANA & LA PAZ
Begin the morning with an included breakfast overlooking Lake Titicaca. Afterward, travel by boat to visit the Pilcocaina ruins, an ancient Inca archaeological site located on Sun Island.
Return by boat to Copacabana and explore the town, its colorful streets, traditional architecture, and lively atmosphere.
At midday, enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your private journey back to La Paz.
Arrive at your hotel in La Paz between approximately 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, where your private 2-day Lake Titicaca experience comes to an end.
OPTIONAL MOON ISLAND & SAMPAYA EXPERIENCE
Guests may choose an optional experience that includes Moon Island and Sampaya. Visit Moon Island by boat to discover its Inca ruins and temple, and explore Sampaya, a traditional stone-built community surrounded by impressive Lake Titicaca landscapes.
The optional Moon Island and Sampaya experience must be selected or arranged in advance.
