Description

The tour begins with a hotel pick-up in Copacabana at 08:00. From the pier, you cross Lake Titicaca to the southern part of the Sun Island, where you visit the archaeological site of Pikokaina, also known as the Temple of the Sun.

Next, you tour the southern area of the island, descending the Inca-era Yumani stairs to reach the Fountain of Eternal Youth and the Inca garden. After returning to the pier, you take a boat to Challapampa to visit the Chinkana and the Sacred Rock, believed in Andean mythology as the birthplace of the sun star and culture founders.

Then, you travel to Moon Island to visit the archaeological remains of the Temple of the Moon and the House of the Virgins of the Sun. The return boat takes you back to Copacabana with an estimated arrival of 17:00, marking the end of the tour.
