We had the most lovely four-day stay at Hotel de Su Merced! The staff were incredibly hospitable and offered wonderful recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The hotel itself is full of charm, with many inviting spaces to sit, relax, and visit. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the location was perfect — within easy walking distance of the plaza and many fun coffee shops. Highly recommend!
Rooms are very clean and big. The bathroom has hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was simple but decent. What I most enjoyed was the excellent service from the front desk. They were very kind in helping us with our plans. We were even allowed to store our bags after checkout as we had a late flight. Due to the kindness of the morning receptionist who made us feel welcome, we would for sure stay here next time we are in town.
What a fantastic hotel. Less than 5 min walk to the main square. It's an old charming building converted into a hotel, thus having some antique looking furniture. No fans or air-conditioning. Didn't need one because of the outside temperature. Not sure how they would manage during winter or hot summer months. The breakfast is adequate with plenty of choices. The big difference is the attention and services provided by the front desk gentleman, Mr Raul. What a gem of a person to interact. If only all hotels around the world could have front desk staff like him 🤔🤔🤔 ? Plenty of restaurants nearby and there is a big Super market around the corner (with a food court, but limited choices and a movie theater- only showing Hollywood movies in Spanish) Thanks. Bagi
We had an excellent experience at this cute boutique hotel. The fellow at the front desk was so helpful and nice and spoke very good English. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well. Our room was beautifully furnished and spacious with a comfortable bed and lots of windows. The hotel was close to the main square with lots of restaurants and attractions. A great place to stay while in Sucre.
A truly relaxing stay in Sucre. A beautiful colonial house with lovely terraces offering great views. The location is excellent, right next to San Felipe Neri and within easy walking distance of everything. The service is warm, attentive, and professional. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in Sucre.
