The comopolitano in Santa Cruz Is a very comfortable and refreshing vibe. Lucia was very attentive and always offered her assistance along with the restaurant downstairs and the rest of the hotel staff. Thank you!
Everything was ok. The staffs were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was quite good. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, a great location which made the overall experience comfortable. One thing there is no curtain or full partitions- only glass panels- so the shower area is visible from the whole room. This may feel a bit lacking in privacy for some guests.
Comfortable rooms, hotel is in a good location. Exception is the soundproofing - you can hear everything clearly through walls - inner garden). General service and breakfast service are slow, card payment option is poorly optimised (card readers not charged). Some things (liquid glasses, trashcan) were missing but provided once asked for. Pool is small but useable. No selection of breakfast (only scrambled or fried egg choice provided).
We had a night flight and left the hotel at midnight, although we had booked the room with breakfast included. I asked at reception if it would be possible to get a small takeaway breakfast since it was already paid for, but this was not possible. It is disappointing that this level of service is offered by a 5-star hotel.
Swimming pool is very small and there are stairs. Room was okay the air conditioner worked. Somebody missed my wake-up call and they didn't want to serve me breakfast I told them someone was incompetent and did not wake me up so they did serve me breakfast. Breakfast is okay. There are two pieces of bacon are miniature pieces.lol hotels pool is very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very small but it was okay to stick my feet in. I didn't use my balcony but it did dry some of my clothes.. it was okay I might stay there again. I'm glad I got a balcony room because the other room seem very small to me and I would have been claustrophobic. I have a very carb-rich Cafe. I can't have too many carbs so I didn't eat there except for breakfast. They really could have improved my experience had they left me directions on how to use that Google TV was quite confusing. Lady said she was going to come up and turn it on and then forgot me and my wake up call. It's a nice TV it just should have came with directions was very complicated. Somebody told me that the croissant looked better than it tasted so I didn't bother he was French he probably have more croissant experience.
